F5signage is the content platform for screens that have to be right every time — menus, lobbies, factories, storefronts, fleets. Edit once. Publish to thousands. Watch them update in under a second.
Begin with one of eighty layouts drawn by working designers — menus, transit boards, lobby schedules, retail promos, factory dashboards. Then change every word, every color, every line. Or write your own from a blank screen.
It is built for the person buying it — the IT director, the operations manager — and not for the person who has to update it on a Thursday at 4:53 PM because the soup is off and the espresso machine is broken and the regional manager is visiting in twenty minutes.
So that person, who is usually a barista or a receptionist or a marketing intern, opens the dashboard, sees fourteen tabs, finds the right screen, finds the right playlist, finds the right asset, uploads a new asset, waits for it to transcode, drags it into the playlist, saves, prays, and then walks to the front of house to confirm it actually published. Which, often, it did not.
F5signage is built for that person. The editor is one screen. The screen list is one column. The schedule is one timeline. There are no tabs. There is no "publish and pray" — when you hit save, the screen updates in under a second, and the editor shows you the actual screen, not a thumbnail of it.
The trade-off is that F5signage is opinionated. We do not support fourteen types of transitions. We support two: cut, and dissolve. We do not let you put a video inside a video inside a marquee. We let you put one video on one screen, with one piece of text underneath. If you want PowerPoint, PowerPoint is right there.
What we do support, properly, is the boring stuff: schedules that respect time zones; content that fails gracefully when the network drops; per-screen overrides that don't break the parent playlist; revision history; offline caching; and a mobile app that lets the barista change the price of a flat white from behind the bar, in seconds, without asking anyone.
That is the whole product.
Here is the F5signage dashboard. On the left is the playlist for TV-0142, a 75-inch Samsung mounted in the lobby of our Stockholm office. Click any asset in the list. The screen on the right updates in real time — exactly what the physical TV in the lobby is doing right now.
Outside these hours the screen falls back to the next template in the playlist. No blank screen, ever.
F5signage ships as a player app for the hardware you already own, plus a web dashboard. No proprietary boxes. No "certified partners." If your screen has an HDMI port and a $40 stick, you're done.
